The 40 is fine. Tripp 9 round mags work perfectly. That is what i run.It will be tough getting 10 round mags in 9mm. 38 super would be fine, use chip mags which hold 10 rounds just fine.

Be sure to contact Tripp before you send your gun. They are not doing gunsmithing any more. Maybe he will fix your feed ramp as a service to a magazine customer.
